From your first draft to review

Use your WormArena player account to enter the Studio. Creator access opens the artwork tools. Request Creator access from Studio access.

Choose the right workspace

Design a skin

A complete character needs separate menu and gameplay heads, both sets of expression frames, an original whole-worm design and a repeating body.

Skin artwork guide

Design a theme

Build a coordinated menu and arena with a food sheet and button frames. The guide gives file sizes, tiling advice and a food-sheet layout.

Create game artwork

For an individual image, prepare the original and finished artwork, with a brief explaining where and how the image will be used.

Save your first project

  1. Get the right access. Sign in with your player account and request Creator access. Wait for approval before starting an artwork project.
  2. Create a draft. Open the relevant workspace, choose New, enter its name and description, then Save draft. This creates the private project and enables its uploader.
  3. Add the files. Choose the matching Artwork type before each upload. Uploading to a type that already has a file replaces it. Files go into your project; they do not change published artwork.
  4. Check the result. Inspect every preview. Use the specific guide for formats, sizes, transparency and layout. Save changes to the name, description and any skin settings before submitting.
  5. Submit for review. The readiness count must show all required files present, and the files must pass validation. The project then locks while the team reviews it.

Player orders and Premium sales

Take an optional skin commission

Approved Creators can open Skin commissions and choose an order offered by the team. Review its skin level, fixed cash payment, design brief and estimated creation time before accepting. Regular, Elite and Mythical have separate payout and time settings; the agreed offer stays fixed after acceptance.

Acceptance creates a private skin project. Use the same eight artwork files, validation and review process. When the team accepts the finished work, the agreed payment enters your pending earnings. Publishing, player delivery and payout approval remain separate.

Submit a Premium skin for the shop

Choose Premium in your skin project. Before submission, review and accept the configured commission percentage and cash value per coin. Those terms stay attached to the skin. If approved and published for sale, each recorded sale earns the agreed percentage of the coins actually paid, including discounts. Earnings appear on your account; access approval alone promises no sales or income.

Test your own artwork

Once all eight required files are ready, use Add my test skin. Refresh your game’s skin selector and choose the version marked Creator test. Personal skin testing is a Creator benefit. Your test skins stay on your account until you remove them. After adding a test skin, saved artwork and skin-setting changes update it automatically. While you replace a matching set of artwork files, the last working test stays available until the new set is ready. Reopen the game’s skin selector to load updated artwork.

Testing gives no claim code, transferable ownership or shop listing. Creators submit artwork; administration controls approval, publication, prices, ownership and player delivery. Payment-provider connection and payment execution are still separate work.
